Dr. Mattia D’Emidio received his M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in Information and Automation Engineering and his Ph.D. Degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of L’Aquila (Italy) in 2010 and 2014, respectively. From 2013 to 2015, he has been working as post-doctoral research fellow at the University of L’Aquila, mainly investigating dynamic graph algorithms and distributed systems. Since 2015, he holds a Post-Doc position in Foundation of (Modern) Networks at Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI). His current research interests include algorithm engineering, algorithms for massive data sets, and robot-based computing systems.
